PNOC EC Holds Recognition Day for Scholars

PNOC EC had A Recognition Day on 25 July at Japi Traveler’s Hotel in Isabela for its 42 College and High School Scholars in Isabela. Representing PNOC EC were Ms. Maricon Noto of the Isabela Office (extreme left), Engr. Leoncio Dalloran (second from left) of Project Development, and Ms. Shirleen Sharma of Engineering Services (extreme right).


Cauayan City, Isabela Province – PNOC Exploration Corporation, the upstream oil, gas, and coal exploration and development arm of the National Government, held a Recognition Day for its 42 scholars on 25 July 2018. Parents, teachers, school administrators, and barangay officials also attended the yearly event.

PNOC EC is supporting 28 high school and 14 college students through its scholarship program in the Province of Isabela as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitments in its Coal Operating Contract (COC) 122. The Company provides tuition, free school supplies and books, as well as a modest allowance to all of its scholars.

The Company is also looking to add more scholars to the program for underprivileged but deserving college and high school students in the coming academic year.
