Combatting COVID 19: PNOC EC Donates Medical Supplies to the Municipality of Benito Soliven

PNOC EC Donated valuable medical supplies to the far-flung Municipality of Benito Soliven in the Province of Isabela, to assist in combatting COVID 19. (15 July 2020, Municipality of Benito Soliven, Isabela Province) – PNOC Exploration Corporation, the upstream oil, gas, and coal exploration and development arm of the National Government, continues to ardently support the fight against the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID 19). PNOC EC donated much-needed medical supplies to the far-flung Municipality of Benito Soliven in Isabela Province.

PNOC EC President and CEO Lt. Gen. Rozzano D. Briguez acceded to the urgent request of Benito Soliven Mayor Roberto T. Lungan to donate medical supplies to the municipality, sending 5,000 pieces of 3-ply surgical face masks, 100 gallons of 70% Isopropyl Alcohol, and 100 bottles of disinfectant spray. Gen. Briguez has been a staunch and proactive supporter in the fight against COVID 19, a disease that is currently classified by the World Health Organization as a global pandemic.

Benito Soliven is part of PNOC EC’s Coal Operating Contract 122 (COC 122) in Isabela Province, which also includes parts of the Municipality of Naguilian and Cauayan City. 

Mayor Lungan expressed his profoundest gratitude to PNOC EC, and said that the supplies will be distributed to Local Government Unit staff as well as to the Barangays.
