PNOC EC has three new Sustainability Reporting Specialist

Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. 18 September 2017 – PNOC Exploration Corporation, the oil, gas, and coal exploration and development arm of the Philippine National Oil Company, has three new Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)-certified Sustainability Reporting Specialists.

Sergio L. Victoriano, Manager for Planning and Budget, Myrannor B. Handig, OIC of External Relations, and Joseph W. Buduan, Media Relations Lead, passed the Certified Sustainability Reporting Specialist (CSRS) exam as part of the Philippine training Batch 6, held from 18 to 20 July, 2017 at the SM Aura SMX Convention Center.

Sustainability reporting is a new reporting system that includes measurements of social and environmental impacts, apart from the more traditional financial and economic impacts, of organizations. GRI is the leading sustainability reporting framework used by the world’s top organizations across a multitude of sectors.

They underwent an intensive three-day training program, and passed the rigorous individual examination under the auspices of the National Center for Sustainability Reporting (NCSR). International sustainability specialists Ali Darwin and Jessica Hanafi of NCSR conducted the training for Batch 6. PNOC EC was joined in the training by other top companies including SM Prime and Maynilad.
