PNOC EC Seeks NCIP Greenlight for COC 185 & 186 Exploration

PNOC EC SEEKS NCIP GREENLIGHT FOR COC 185 & 186 EXPLORATION

Taguig City (18 October 2018) – PNOC Exploration Corporation, the oil, gas, and coal exploration and development arm of the National Government is applying for a Certificate Precondition (CP) from the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) so the Company can proceed with exploration of Coal Operating Contract 185 and 186 (COC 185 and 186) in Zamboanga Sibugay Province.

Representatives of the Company and NCIP Region IX made a presentation before the Regular Commission En Banc Session last 11 October 2018.

The Commissioners resolved to endorse the issuance of the CP pending completion of all other regulatory requirements by PNOC EC.
